March 18 – Sunny 40-50F Path was wet and a bit muddy, snow packed in some spots, flooded behind the condos. Boston was Visible from the top on West Berlin Road

March 18 – Sunny 40-50F Path was dry no snow or mud. Popular with dogs and dog lovers.

March 19, 35F Partly cloudy windy trail wet with runoff try the seasonal bypass but check your map North Peak is not on the posted maps. crusty snow on most of the trail and cold and windy up top

Keep your powder dry boys the townhouse road is wet

March 20, 45F Sunny and clear the fitness trail and one spot later flooded but the rest was dry with no snow. Great Rocks, Kinda hard to know when you’re there but some one marked it.

Long Hill

March 21, 55F Sunny and clear Trail is dry except for a tiny bit at the Annie Moore end. Spring is here, the peepers are peeping

Long Hill – Long Wall, That massive wall along the trail is the 1653 Eastern boundary of Lancaster.  This hike crosses the New Lancaster Road most people take 117 now.

Rattlesnake Hill

March 22, 55F Sunny und clar Quarry holes Split Rocks my favorite is the Grotto but don’t worry Never in my life have I seen a Rattlesnake here

Barretts Hill

March 23, 60F Overcast with a bit of a breeze. Trail is wet rocky and steep, wear your sturdy boots. The trail at the cul de sac and the top could use some attention from a machette.
